About The Role

We are seeking a skilled Front-End Web Developer to join our team and help us craft exceptional web experiences. In this remote position, you will be responsible for developing, optimizing, and maintaining a variety of web applications, ensuring they are scalable, performant, and user-friendly. You will play a key role in driving UI/UX planning and execution, making critical design and technical decisions that enhance usability and accessibility. Your expertise will contribute to our core codebase, documentation, and front-end architecture, supporting our mission to deliver high-quality digital products. The ideal candidate is passionate about front-end development, enjoys working in a collaborative environment, and has a knack for creating visually appealing, intuitive websites from scratch, particularly within a WordPress-heavy ecosystem.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2-3 years of professional experience in web development
  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS/SCSS, JavaScript, and PHP
  • Experience with Vue.js or React.js frameworks
  • Strong understanding of front-end architecture and performance optimization
  • Ability to lead UI/UX planning and execution independently
  • Experience working in a WordPress environment, including theme development
  • Familiarity with project management tools such as Jira and Confluence
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills
  • High level of professionalism, integrity, and accountability

Responsibilities

  • Develop, launch, and maintain websites of varying sizes, ensuring they are scalable, performant, and user-friendly
  • Drive UI/UX planning and execution, making design decisions with minimal guidance
  • Adhere to high front-end development standards, prioritizing accessibility, responsiveness, and maintainability
  • Troubleshoot technical issues and bugs to ensure smooth site performance
  • Contribute to documentation and improve the core codebase, enhancing internal processes and best practices
  • Collaborate effectively with developers, designers, and technical writers to produce high-quality web products
  • Maintain clear communication to support company goals and foster a collaborative team environment
  • Stay updated with the latest front-end development trends and technologies to continuously improve project outcomes
